Does anyone know what kind of rod blank Thorne Brothers uses for there ice rods?

All i know for sure is their rods are over priced! I do know you can but St. Criox ice rod blanks from Jannsnetcraft.com

I've been told the Sweethearts are made from the St. Croix Solid Carbon blanks you can get in most of the rod building catalogs.  As far as the glass rods, I don't know, but would really like to find out.  I'm going to try to make some rods from the St. Croix blanks and see how they compare to some Thorne Bors. rods that are around.
