made it out to a less than 50 acre lake. 3.5 inches ...well except where the open water areas!
started in the weeds for gills and crappie but slowly slid out deeper and found the perch. had a great night and some great perch and really i forgot how much i missed the ice till i was out there tonight! and forgot how good a plate of fresh perch was!!!
biggest 11.25 but she had friends really close in size.

3.5"
what more do ypou need......
on a side note
got bait in Rome city , Heftys.
check before you leave, i understand with the weather they have been sitting on things ....but of my100 spikes only found 3 usable. the rest cocooned or rotten.
should be a good week!!!
got pics i can txt somone to post....old school guy cant figure all that out yet lol

Glad you you made it out!  You can send me the pics if you want.  I'm going to head north tomorrow and try to find some ice.

Yeah it's hard for places to keep fresh bait when it's not selling.  When it's slow like this I stop at several shops and buy something from them.  Use to own one and it's tuff and getting worse!

11.75 was the biggest and no it wasn't mine but the kids!
his was bigger but mine tasted better!
 those were the good ones the others that didn't make the pics were just 9" guys.
thanks for the posting help...site has been slow with the fish porn this year!!

This is my 2 acre pond yesterday. It froze up to the aerators on Saturday. About 1-2" away from aerators I would guess. It's a shallow pond, 4-6' mostly.

2 1/2 inches on one one of my ponds yesterday off the pier.  If it gets 1 more inch thicker I wouldn't have a problem walking around the pond.

Nice mess of perch A-bomb. Got on 2.5 inches today in Kosciusko county. Was iffy walking out and within being there an hour had a DNR walk up right next to me to check my license. Ended up with a small mess of gills.

almost 4" as of last night.  another couple jumbos but just cant find the good gills we know the lake has. got thick green weeds out to 16' and they are vacant so we have spent the afternoons chasing the perch.

but i'll find em the lake isnt that big lol

4'-25'.... kid drilled 50 plus holes all over...
found schools of 5" gills in 20' but nothing of what the lake is known for.  big isolated green weed patches were vacant....like not even a mark. like inside edge at 3' out to 15'
odd ....but they are somewhere!
