Anyone headed north this weekend ?

Curious if anyone is headed to Cadillac and staying at pilgrims we are headed up Friday for the weekend

Heading up early tomorrow. gonna try Mitchell. May go further north looking for some smaller lakes with perch or crappie, gills.

I was gona say you might want to find out if they have ice. Looked at the Mich forum and forecast and it looks like they have some iced lakes and the forecast looks good. GL and have fun.

"between" Mitchell and Cadillac there is an econo lodge we usually try to book a room at here is the link:

I also have a buddy who lives another 2 hours north of there and have gone up and fished around him.

well with the projected weather in Cadillac this weekend gonna postpone this trip for another week but hopefully one of these weekends the weather will cooperate for us

My brother lives near Cadillac and he says their weather has been terrible! Rain then ice then snow, with a constant wind blowing really strong! Good luck if you go or are already up. Saw a prediction of 6 to 12" of snow for Grand Rapids today and weekend could make getting home tough! Again Good Luck! Hex

Only fished Wed on Mitchell, dink perch..
Ice was 5-6 inches off of Pilgrims.

Checked other Lakes North and there was a little better ICE.
6-10 inches of snow for this weekend isn't gonna help.
