Anyone have suggestions on brand/model of cots that they use on the ice for overnight trips?

I've got 2 different ones I use. I have the biggest one made that sportsmans carried and I only use it in my clam xl6000. I have a smaller one that folds down in a tri fold that's not as long and it fits better in my 949i. I do like my bigger one better as it sits higher and can be sat on like a couch and there's room underneath to store stuff. The tri fold one sits closer to the ground and can only be used for sleeping. There's no wrong or right on cots just what fits your situation best. A good sleeping bag and wool blanket is #1. Hope this helps

I bought one that sits higher off the ice as well, it is a space saver since you can slide all your bins and various gear underneath.

I got the walmart one that folds up pretty small but still sits up high enough to use as a a a seat and store gear below. Used at Flaming Gorge few weeks ago and worked out great.
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy fishing gear....and that's kind of the same thing.

Pardon me for butting in from North of the border.  We really like our Cam-O-Cot bunk beds.  If you get them, be sure to get the extensions to make more room between them.

Oh, and if you get serious about them, note that there is an L and an XL.  We opted for the L because they are not as wide, and space in the shelter is at a premium.

Sleep area:

L:     79” (201cm) L x 28” (70cm) W
XL:   79” (201cm) L x 35” (88cm) W

Cabela's and Costco tend to carry the XL.

They have used the cam-o-cot and cam-o-bunk names, but the company is Disc-O-Bed.

I'm not connected to them.  I just like the product.

We used to sleep on a beach/ lounge chair in the ice tent, great if you like your top half elevated a little, good ones can slide the leg rest underneath and double as the fishing chair, saw a nice one at sportsman’s the other day
Easy does it.
Let them go so they can grow.
