Cabela's in CT
« on: Jan 13, 2008, 02:38 PM »
I just got home from Cabela's in Ct ,for just openin at 10 am the ice fishing dept had not 1 tip up , a few jiggin pole's , 26$for just the pole$$$$,no shacks set up,1 hand auger,1 gas auger, no vex fl8's only fl- 12,18,20's .I was not too impressed with there ice fishing dept >:( The building is 3/4 the size of Bass Pro,I guess I'll just have to go to Bass Pro again too double check my comparison. ;D

The Cabelas ice fishing selection was much better a few weeks ago.  I was there last night, about 70% of the ice stuff is gone.
Looking for JUMBO Perch, Crappie, and Bluegill

I'll second that.  Peterson Outdoors is pretty good...  they have a ton of stuff.  I ordered some ice fishing stuff last week, and had my order within 4 days.

Petersons-Outdoors / Frontier Tilts (similiar to the Heritage) are $10.99 a piece with a 500' or 1500' spool. Can't beat that. I bought some last year. Great quality
