I have started spearing a couple years back, and would like to know a bit more about pike. I have been told shallows , early season. deeper mid season, and back to shallow late season, when I assume they are getting ready to spawn. I would also like to know are there any books out there showing where you might be looking on topos . In bass fishing there are tons of books for structure fishing. Guys study maps, then head to what may be more productive waters, and separate dead water. I would like to start my fishing at home on a map
