I spent this afternoon and evening fishing with them.
We ate a perch tonight that Pletch caught this afternoon.
Saw lots of fish today, but it was really tough gettin 'em to bite.

I tried calling them this evening to see how they did today.  Not gettin any answer.
I do have a friend who works at the resort where they're staying.  So I'm trying to get him to go check on how their doing.
If/when I hear from him, I'll post an update here for you.
Geez maybe someone should follow them with a video camera and post it here.
We could have an online reality show, eh?

Just spoke with Pletch's nephew.  (he was still in the shanty)
They got into a few perch yesterday and also caught one nice walleye.
Pletch and Eric are already out scoutin' this morning.

I'm hoping they make the trip again.
Even floated an idea for a couple lakes that I think are even better than Mille Lacs.
You ought ta try to make it out here too.
I really enjoyed the day I spent with them.
Let me know far enough ahead of time so I can take a few days off of work and I'd gladly join this great group of guys for a few days of fishing.

Oh I haven't heard any word since Thursday morning
SO
Looking forward to seeing a final report posted here.  I really wanted to see these guys get on a good bite or at least hear that they got into one.

PLETCH how 'bout a final REPORT ?
I know Monday and Tuesday were slow.
I've heard Wednesday and Wednesday night were a little better. How many perch?  Any keeper size?
How 'bout Thursday, Thursday night, Friday morning?
Also, Were you able to travel by truck from Hennepin Island over to the Big Gravel bar?

PA Boys if your still making your way back by car stop by Lake St. Clair and catch your limit with 10 inch perch in a couple of hours. Literately, over hundred people out there every morning and not one of them is coming back without there limit.  Plus, if your fishing walleye, you'll most likely hook into a few of them as well.
