Made it out to silver creek on saturday for about 4 hours. A buddy of mine caught about 30 fish a piece with only about 10 keeper sized fish. had something on a tipup but lost it. it slowed down so we decided to go to fisher mans in area. only caught one there in  about2 hours. the ice is not good on the zumbro. crsty layer on top a couple inches of water then about 5 inches of ice.

Guys
Sorry I have not been on IS much.  Busy fishing, and working.  I might try to get out some Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons, and/or Thursday next week.  Then I work the new years weekend, then off to NW WI for a week of fishing.  Shoot me a message with a phone number if you want to get out.

Well i went out to Silver Creek last night from about 5 to 8 or so. Not a thing. I tried about 10 diferent jigs, an moved 3 times. NOthing. I was there a week ago an i couldnt even take a drink with how many fish i was catching. I've heard some rumors from a bait shop that theres guys plannin on puttin permanent shacks out on zumbro this weekend. Is there already that much ice out there? There was at least 12 if not 15 at silver creek.

I'm in Winona and we put out our permanent on Lake Winona last weekend.  People started driving out this week.  We have approx 12" of good ice.  Fishing has been pretty slow though.

Gamehaven by fleetfarm has alot of sunfish and some decent crappie. It never has alot of people on it because the walk is almost a mile in so pack light. And you will have to catch alot of little ones to get the big one last time we went out there we fish in 19 fow and hooked up with lots of small suns maybe we shoulda been shallower

Foster's has 'bows, browns, smallies, sunnies, crappies, and gills. Fished it for the last ten years...but not anymore.
