You guys are more than welcome to meet here and then head out. We would be willing to do the same thing as last year, 50% off road passes, so it would be $5 a vehicle.

From our road system you can access just about anywhere on the lake. You can go from Isle Bay all of the way out to the mud.

I will have a group out all weekend fishing for perch and will also have a grill out on the ice that you guys would be more than welcome to use for those that are interested.

I know this is a little late to be posting this but here it goes any ways.. Metting place has been changed to appledoorns sunset bay resort its north of isle on hwy 47 there will be a lake access charge of 5.00$ at 9-9:30 am.. The first kids that come and find me will walk away with there own fishing rod that they can take home with them .. As for the grow ups i also have a little some thing for you to !

Just a FYI - 9.30 might be tight for us - me - neighbor and possibly my son - for us it's nearly 4 hrs (200 miles).

Also - there is the possibility of rain/freezing rain in the forecast - if it's doing that, we may wimp out.

Id like to thank paul at appledoorerns sun set bay resort for having us back agian! Pic to come from today is comeing soon ! Fishing was a lot better then it was last year. All fish came from 30 feet of water.

Well, we didn't light them on fire, we had to work for them (fish) - never did find / figure out a pattern, but we call caught some decent fish, w/ some skinny ones thrown in for flavor. Weather co-operated - I came home w/ a nice sunburn....

all in all - a pretty decent day....
