JPS Derby Febuary 23rd 2008

That's great news, If you guys reading this are within driving distance you are crazy not to check this derby out. It's an overnight derby for a great cause. I have gone to this one from the first year and will not miss it. The guys that run it are all great guys, sorry the women too. At the dinner after the derby if you leave hungry there is something wrong with you. Also the prizes that are raffled off are top notch. Last year they surprised everyone and had a sweet SHANTY and other gear to go with it. 3 years ago I won a new AUGER. 10" Eskimo. Oh and the cash prizes aren't bad either. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.(((((FLAG)))))

This tourney is in Memory Of a Friend that died in a car accident two weeks before graduating from college.
So now we put on this derby in Memory of Joshua Paul Snyder.We have scholarship that the proceeds go to.
That is how it came about.
The Tourney starts at Midnight Feb 23rd and ends at 5pm Feb 23rd. Cheshire Resevoirs{All Three Lakes}
All weigh ins on the ice. Fish must be alive for weigh in.
Pike And Bass Category
Heaviest 3 fish for each category.
BASS Pike Heaviest Pickerel
1st $500 1st $500 $50
2nd $200 2nd $200
3rd $100 3rd $100
After the fishing we have a outstanding meal at the PNA hall in Adams. Where we hand out fish prizes and the numerous amounts of Chinese raffle prizes. We also give a grand prize of a 10' Eskimo Shark Power Auger Away. This is all comes with the one ticket.
All for $20. Everyone seems to really enjoy it.

It is right on Route 8 Cheshire MA. We are roughly a hour from Albany, New York. I would guess that we are about a hour North of the New York , Connecticut and Mass border. I hope that helps a little.

There is one already in print. Can not tell you though.Sorry! But you wont be disappointed. Have we let you guys down yet.

But I will definitely take suggestions for years to come. It is starting to get a little difficult to come up with ideas year after year.

We sell 500 hundred tickets they have to be bought pryor to event. The locations for tickets when they come out. Which will be soon. I will let you guys know when they are out.
