Few reports for the last few weekends.
January 4 rented a cabin in savoy ma. Fished north pond had 10 inches of ice. 2 small rainbows. Thanks for the help millburyman and bogtrotter. 2 feet below the ice on night crawlers. Also tried out the new Eskimo auger. Works great. Really sharp. Pulled it out of the truck at the ice and the dome cover fell off. My friend without thinking went to grab it and 3 stitches later and a trip to the er and we were fishing by 10 am.
January 9 and 10 Fished lake Cochituate. 4-5 inches of solid black ice. 8 or so dink pickerel
January 17 fished long pond in dracut. Few flags. Hit and runs. Then at the end of the day caught a few big pickerel. 10 inches of ice Nice day.
January 24. Dug pond 8-9 inches of ice. 2 flags 1 nice perch.
