Want to go to ice fishing tournament

I live in coeur d alene, Id.   Always wanted  fish a tournament.   What is a good one to go to.

I don't think I would have the time to fish the tournament down there but I'm hopeful to fish cascade this season and enter one of those football sized perch in the ice shanty tourney.

Idaho is unfortunately low on fishing tournaments, especially during the ice fishing season. i only know of the one at Cascade and one at Devil's Creek.

Fremont derby, usually first weekend in March.
Or Burbot bash on the Gorge in January,
Clark canyon near Dillon in Jan and there is one on Hebgen lake in Jan also I believe.

The one on Magic Reservoir is a good time. Did it last year with my wife had a lot of fun.

there are three this year at cascade. i would attend the one that works with your schedule. two are 2 day the hardwater is the only 1 day. tackle toms is the cheapest $10 (3 perch)

I like the Online Ice Shanty Tournament.  Once the contest starts, you are tournament fishing every time you hit the ice!!
