Who was the one who had the invention he was real hush hush on? I lost where that thread went as I was following it. I think it was like Prodict X or something?

SWEET... is this your prototype or is it finished design?

prototype. first shot at making it. I like the idea of bending the wire around itself.  ??? Why didn"t I think of that!
I still have plenty of 9 ga. galvanized to make another.

I want to make one of those hook-set things, strictly for big fish, out of this guy-

That's 50lb braid, and that rod can pretty much bend down and touch the reel.  ;D

I have a number of those bells I'll attach to it as well. It'll most likely be outside of the hut while I'm fishing inside.

Here's an underwater camera aimer I made out of an old round tipup. Took about 5 minutes to make. I robbed an anchor cleat off of my boat, and screwed it on to my old tipup body, drilled 2 holes and tied an old boot lace to use for a handle to turn it. Drop the camera down to the desired depth, put the aimer down on hole and lace cable through the cleat, and turn unit until you see your bait. You could use plywood or bucket lid with a slot cut into center, also. I also painted marks at every foot of the cam cord so I know what depth I'm at. Works Great. Sure beats using your fingers to twist the cord.

Here's something I put together to keep the camera from drifting. The pole does telescope. Easy to detach.  Perfect for jigging the bottom.

I made this tripod out of simple items you can buy for a few dollars, simply clamp the legs to the brackets screwed to the center piece, breaks down for portabilty in your bucket. Foam ball for the stopper. Smitty

I know I've seen on iceshanty somewhere of things guys have made for their flashers.....just don't remember where. I'm lookin for ideas on what I can use to make a case or carrier for my Hummingbird ICE35 so I don't have to set it in the snow and ice anymore

No Pics, but best rod bag is my kids old baseball bag. Heavy duty with zipper pockets for storage.Sholder strap and can hold up to 7 rods.Longest 36".I slide some old golf bag tubes over the ends so they dont tangle.Keeps the tips from breaking on my perch rods.

Has anybody ever tried to make a spring loaded rattle reel something simillar to the yo-yo reels that would automatically set the hook if you happened to not be paying attention or were really sleeping hard or were just passed out ?
