Got out for only the second time all winter.
Had fun but instead of the great action we had the end of January (40-50 fish for two guys in one morning), we had to work to get our limit. Lots of fun though and finished the day with a snowshoeing outing after the bite totally played out at about noon.
Hoping for one more chance on the hardwater then it's the wait for ice-out.
BTW, the smoked trout was incredible...as usual. Best thing on the planet to do with trout.
