« on: Jan 01, 2010, 10:31 PM »
Anyone fish any lakes in the Waterloo area?  I fish Sullivan and thats about it.  Im not looking for any spots, just wondering if anyone else on here fish the same lakes as I.

Thanks

I fish Portage quite a bit. A good lake for pike and crappie. There are walleye, but I have never caught one.

Drove by there today. Did not have time to fish. Talked to a few guys and they said they did well. 25-30 keeper gills each and a few flags. I fish the north side off of Welch Rd. Hope to see you out tomorrow. We'll be out around 0900 hrs.

Any new updates on Portage? I have been fishing Vinyard and haven't had much luck. I was thinking about poking a few holes this weekend at Portage for the first time. Guys from work say a lot of good things about the lake for ice fishing.
