20 now and clear - we escape the lake effect this time around.  I saw some swamps on the way to work that looked like I could walk on them.  @) :P

Wow BuffaloIceMan, you guys are getting clobbered out there! The news reported a town just one mile north of Buffalo only received 1" of snow....crazy how the lake effect snow bands work!

11* here and -18* windchill.  Only 1/2" of snow since the lake effect started, but buffalo south to springville is getting hammered.

the pond next to 787 by the Mohawk papermill in Cohoes - all of 10' above sea level - frozen solid as of 1pm this afternoon.   This is among the earliest it has frozen in my lifetime.

Here in south buffalo its 19°F and dropping 10mph wind and 81" in of snow on the ground but the vans still shoveled out and the whole driveway looks like the northtowns lol
