Does anyone know of any places around the Worcester are that are open enough to launch and take a boat out. Looking to scratch the itch.

Jumping the gun a bit on that one. Every place I know of with a boat ramp in the area has lots of ice - some still fishable
-
Only open water I know is cape cod. You won’t find a sliver of ice anywhere from Plymouth - Provincetown.
-
saw a lot of it today in eastern mass
-
Quinsig still has a lot of ice. Just drove by but I have no clue if it's safe. It doesn't look to friendly.

I doubt it is safe. Think more like Rutland area if you want safe ice. Or else drive to Plymouth with the boat and let me know how the trout are biting!

may head down the cape. catch tons of trout in the sandwich barnstable area. my buddy got a 5lb brown a couple of weeks ago.
-
I'll be open water fishing by Sunday ;D
-
Most, if not all of the major rivers in the state are wide open.
Unfortunately the majority of open water ponds/lakes would be in southern Mass, and everywhere else will still have ice.
Of course the problem will be the lack of safe shoreline ice to get to the "safer" ice...
After today, many shores will be toast.

The north side of dark brook is wide open
-
Webster lake is wide open
-
Lots of stuff opened up yesterday
-
Looking like I may be doing a trout run to the cape. Can't decide whether I want to drag the boat down or fish from shore. May even bust out the fly rod :)
-
Flint pond looked like the ice was gone

Yes Quinsig is wide open from the 290 bridge as far as you can see towards rt 9. I would imagine it is wide open tho.

Was there the other day. Watch out for the stick coming out from the right side of the ramp. Be prepared to back way in to launch your boat.
