What is a good set-up for dead sticking Greenbacks on lake Winnipeg?
Thanks Matt

Are you looking to buy one? Several makers have excellent deadsticks. I have a JT snare, but haven’t used it yet so not fair to comment.

Thanks or the reply, I’m looking more for the below the ice set-up. Using jigs or just plain hooks

Jig and a salted minnow is what I use most of the time. Walleye, sauger and burbot will all bite that on LW. Good luck.

tip-up or a windlass tip-up with small jig and live minnow

Color of jig matter? How small? 1/4 oz?

I’ve never noticed too much difference in colours. Green, pink, white all seem to get the job done. 1/4 oz is fine.
