Had a great fishing trip this weekend. On lake George. Got a bucket full of fish. I know a lot of you guys pick up trash on the ice .  If I spot something on the ice I’ll take a minute to check it out to see if it’s trash and pick it up. Well we found some good stuff this weekend !

Hardly trash....obviously someone dropped them out of a sled.....

That’s the whole point. We stop to pick up trash when we see it but this time got rewarded with some sweet gear lol.

Nice find.  I'd probably keep the oil and give the rest away somewhere.  If no claims,  I'm sure a parking lot unload will find a taker.

Nice mess of fish. Your choice and right to fillet that group.
No worries about populations I'm sure but that's a lot to store.
I like my fish fresh as they are easily available so that's just my gig.

Only thing I can think of to explain the oil is someone brought a deep fryer out to cook their catch. Can't get any fresher than that.
Did you notify the police? leave a note in the parking lot? (just kiddin)

im offended that you kept that stuff and didn't put a post in the newspaper and on facebook, leave a note in the parking lot, and contact the police. Especially that vegetable oil..... someone opened up their pantry later that day and bummed out when they realized it must have fallen out of their sled.
