just to say hi

hey folks, i just found this site a couple of days ago whilst looking for more info on icefishing which i tend to do every winter. i figured i'd better say hi and share a pic. this is a pic of my wife and i last march. we went up the ice road (the one where debogorski and company filmed the first season of ice road truckers) a couple of hundred kilometers with a friend and his boy to do some caribou hunting/fishing. never saw a caribou but the fishing wasn't too bad.
it was -21c and sunny and we caught a couple of lakers pushing the 30lb range and 2 burbs also. 8 months of winter here, we take our hardwater fun kinda serious.....

not as of yet, but yellowknife is not such a big town, especially out on the ice. i'll recognize him though if i see him.

how did you get that pic to work? it was the first one i ever tried to post and i couldn't figure it out. i followed the instructions on the moderators board but it didn't seem to take. i run a mac so that may have been the difference.

welcome to the site, nice lakers it looks like you forgot to place the around your url to make it work the button to do so is in row of options in your "effects" choices in the upper left hand corner its the little picture in the second row down, the second image in

Log in to your Photo Bucket account and navigate to the picture.
Copy the IMG Code and paste it into your message.
Click on Preview and see if all is ok.
