What are Fish Eyes

When some of you say you fish with fish eyes what are you talking about. A jig or the real deal
just curious cause I got 500 smelts sitting in a bucket and if you mean the real deal might as well grab a few for later

I have only used perch eyes but yes the real deal. They work very well at times.

Ethical and best to only remove the eyes after last rights.
And releasing dead fish into the waters is considered littering.
