My Big Pike--SS

Finally got a real good pike . Fished Sunday with my buddy Hardwaterhank. Didn't expect much from the day after the storm but it turned out pretty busy. The jig bite was slow early and turned on later, we caught at least 60 panfish no exaggeration, mainly crappie. Hank missed a good runner at the beginning on the tilt and at the end of the day, what I call my pack up flag went off real late. I might change my avatar with this pic.  Had some issues loading the pics , hope they came out. Thanx again HH good day. ;D ;D------------SS.

Thanx I appreciate that.
41 inches long
21 inches girth.
19.9lbs.
I released it quickly after a bunch of pics and the measurements. Swam away kickin and screamin'  :thumbsup:

i loved seeing that you released the pike afterwards, catch and release is the best way to go

Thanks Mike, how true. Ive fished every weekend and a few days in between this year. Its been good, I beat my PB twice this season. I 've learned allot, been messing with different leaders all year and the 30lb Malin came through again. Keeping the rigs clean, simple and near invisible is a must. Using big dead bait is a plus but not a guarantee. And sometimes your fishing the right pond just at the wrong time.--------------SS
