winter walleyes

So folks at what depth do you have the most success for winter Walters? I have our lake figured out in the summer but it all changes in the hard water season.

I know this isn't going to be much help but I will catch them in 3ft of water to as deep as you like but I don't go over 25ft as I release a lot of fish.

early and late Ice I catch them shallower 8-20 feet or so Jan Feb deeper. my fav spots are near a deep basin with a rapid transition from 17 to over 40 ft. Fish shallower first light and last light. deeper mid day. A lot of mid day Walleye are not on bottom use a flasher wide beam and watch the screen for suspended fish.
Old fishermen never die, they just smell that way.
