weyakwin lake

Anybody have any info for this lake?  Just look ok ng for some info on the lake in winter?  how the bite is and areas that are safe? Better fishing areas?

Last winter we did well at the second island and the natural beach. Also caught some good walleye at the owl river. I am not overly familiar with this lake, I was tagging along with a cabin owner. You can ask the locals for these areas and I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.

fishing is usually good right off of the main dock too, good place to go if you dont have a sled to get around on

anyone been up here lately? I am tempted to drive up, but if there is as much snow on the lake as whiteswan I would rather not waste the gas.
My drinking team has an ice fishing problem.

was up with a couple buddies 2weeks ago and could drive on easily at that time..good action from daybreak till about ten then the walleye bite just stopped.pulled out a few pike after that time but very slow.
