I fished antero today and only caught dinks. Did see a guy drill a bunch of holes for some guys and then catch a huge trout and yell "karma".

I went elsewhere in that vicinity hoping to find some tip up action and maybe a troutsky or two.  I hugged the bank seeking a Pike but bagged only one 18" bow.  Not a flag all day.  Fished 7-3.  Clam plate was awesome addition.  Fell flat on my ass one time even though I had creepers on.  I can't jump more than 12" so how is it my boots end up 3' above my head before I even know what the hell happened.  Hot tub on the deck thank God.

Thanks for posting.  I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was cold this morning...I thought for sure I had turned into a p---y since last year.

That was me. I drilled the 1st hole then let the young guy cut the rest.

I saw the big one come up so I'll sign an affidavit that the photos aren't faked. I was over by the pressure ridge. Got one jigging metal and a few hits. Deadstick was very dead. Rolled it up when the zombie hordes arrived.

It had some good fight in it. I thought it came unpinned a couple times. It would make a run towards me and the line would go slack for a split second (and make my heart stop) Too much fun!! One of the ones I lost straightened the hook.  Always a blast fishing with "Iron Mike"!
