Any trips north of Blaine lake.

Anyone fishing north of Blaine lake recently. Planning a trip before Christmas for a few days Base camp at big shell. Someone said tow the sleds?.  that would be awesome.

 was just in that area today.  there's enough snow for sleds as long as it hasn't all blown off the lakes.  quads would do fine too.

thanks ran7ger will be hitting a few lakes over the 3 days. feel a lot safer on a sled rather than a truck not knowing ice conditions.

 i know guys have drove on some lakes already but i've seen a few different spots that have 12" of ice but only 5-6" of good ice and the rest frozen slush.

Was fishing big shell last weekend.  About 10-12 inches of ice.

thanks tfm00 will be heading up to big shell Tuesday.will be making a tour on other lakes also . any newer reports....? sure going to be nice to get away from the strap for awhile. also looking forward to a few trips up revo road north of delaronde in the new year. come on cold temps......

Ice around that foot all over on big shell now.
