Peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate go together like a hot dog and a bun great stuff. Warms ya right up. My grandpa got me going on this back 30 some years ago. Shhhh not supposed to tell dad.   I am 42 now I sure miss papa. to this day I still love the combo.....Thanks papa I know he is ice fishing up in the sky and drinking peppy hot chocolate.  mmmmmmmm

Not quite schnapps, but my father in law gave me a bottle for the fish house last year.  You don't need much, it lasted all season.

Add a bit of that butterscotch schnapps to pancake mix, you just can't stop eating them...

    * 1 gal. Cider, apple
    * 7 sticks Cinnamon Stick
    * 800 g (4 Cups) Sugar


Mix apple juice, apple cider, sugar, and cinnamon sticks together. Boil until cinnamon sticks lose flavor. Add Everclear. Refrigerate

Highly recommend some of you guys try this if you are lookin for somethin new, Very good

CrappieBuster that does sound good.  My wife makes my Peppermint Schnapps and it sure tastes good and its sure got a punch with that everclear.

My drink of choice is warm apple pie! To make it you need:
1 gal. of good cider
2 1/3 c. sugar
5 cinnamon sticks
350 ml. everclear

Empty some of the cider to make room for the other ingredients. Add the cinnamon, sugar, and everclear and top of the jug with cider till full. Shake the jug to mix the sugar. Keep in the fridge shaking once a day for at least a week. After a week it should be ready to go. The longer it sits the more pronounced the cinnamon flavor will be. WARM dont BOIL the drink for a glass of warm apple pie.

We prefer Hot 100.  It's not that sissy 80 proof junk. 

I'm actually in the midst of making 6 gallons of homemade wine.  It should be ready for bottling at Christmas.  Nothing like homemade hooch to keep you warm on the ice.

try mixing apple pucker and buttershots 50/50.   makes for a nice carmel apple flavor.

another good drink is barejager. it's a honey liqeur. made in gemany. the bottle is wrapped in a ''basket''. the top has a plastic lid that looks like a bee hive.  35%.=70 proof.   straight off the ice or mix it with vernors.

non-shcnapps but good anytime = Canadian Hunter bar whiskey and vernors.  $15.00 a half gallon for the booze and a buck for the 2 ltr of pop.  gets a handfull of guys buzzed up cheap.
