Love seeing homemade gear!
That used to be the unique thing about ice fishing- there was little purpose built gear for sale, most was home built. Today we have more fancy gear than we can store. It is nice stuff, but I miss seeing people using their creativity to solve the problems of fishing on the ice.

With the low profile above the skis and the flat front on the box, how does it pull in deep snow?
