Title: More snowing, tough going?
Post by: Drift Dodger on Jan 23, 2022, 10:15 AM
It seems a good portion of Manitoba has received the greatest snow accumulation by this point in January in several years. Of course it doesn't compare to many other heavily snowed-in regions of the country, but does make it difficult for the typical wheeled vehicles (pickups, SUV's, etc.) to navigate the lakes like we've become so accustomed to. Aside from ice road plowing, it looks like snowmobiles and tracked ATV's / side-by-sides may be the ticket for the much of the balance of the ice fishing season in many areas. How's it looking in your stomping grounds?
