In the past years we have fished about 100 yards East of the boat ramp in about 8-10 fow.

We have started to use Reel Weeds.  This seems to hold the roving groups of perch and keeps the action pretty steady.  Keep changing colors until you find a hot color. Then change when the quit.  It seemed like last year we caught more aggressive perch when we pounded the bottom.

thanks for the info.  trying to round up a fishing parter last minute...not getting any bites
