Pretty slow this weekend... a couple good gills and perch mixed in with a bunch of hammer handles.

How much ice was there?  Did we lose any over the warm weekend?

I fished there off of hunter's point on Friday afternoon. Ice was wet with 12" or so thick.   A few other groups tried also.  Real slow.  Caught a 6" perch that I put back to grow and caught a 24" pike that I gave to some guys that came down from Edgemont. Had to leave early to go on to Hot Springs, SD.  Happy trails. ;)  DH

Any ice updates for Box Butte?  Or even best guesses on how long there may be fishable ice with our upcoming weather forcast based on current conditions and past experience?

The kids are off of school tomorrow and I have a day off too.  How is the ice, is it worth coming over to try and catch some northern?  Any information would be nice.
