I absolutely love my striker ice bibs and jacket and hope that they last me a very long time. I am amazed how many people I see wiping fish slime on thier bibs. Just curious how everyone is washing thiers? In machine, by hand or????

Love mine too... Wished they were available years ago.. Sometimes with all the pockets, I forget where I put stuff.
Yes, the wife washed mine in the machine and then I hung them overnight out in the room where the wood stove is.. Wore them Friday they were just like new...

Cold water, gentle cycle with mild detergent. No fabric softener. Do not use a dryer. Air dry only.
The above was given by one of our local striker dealers.

Clothing items are required to have "care labels" in them for how to launder it. Look for the info tags in your Striker suits.

Good topic, first day out with my jacket I landed a bleeding 21 lb pike and seasoned my new jacket. bibs and jacket dying for a clean.
I will say, I am a little discouraged that the waist pockets on bibs, and neoprene cuffs for jackets is already tearing..jacket cuffs have torn on both sides..worried washing them with further tear the seams.
Also, i was super excited to have all the pockets..
considering pinning some shut now so I do not have to spend 20 min checking each pocket for one little item... a bit TOO many for me

I'm not sure I want to wash mine, I figure when they get wet from snow and such that cleans them. I washed a hunting hat I use for upland hunting and had one of my worst upland hunting years in quite some time. So thinking I do not want to wash the luck off them.

Exactly, washing them is bad luck, although the little cloths on the bibs where you can wipe your hand are in dire need of a wash.

I got mine last season and haven't washed them yet. But I'm gonna... smells like I put a perch in my pocket and forgot about it.

I once fished with a guy who had bibs that stunk so bad I had to kick him out of my shack.
I have machine washed and air dried my Striker bibs. Came out looking great. My luck is just as good, too.

Jump In! Wear it while it's raining. Both good ways to wash it.

I have a Stryker coat but have not washed it yet...getting close to due though. Maybe look at Nikwax products. I have a pair of 10 year old Simms G3 gortex waders that were filthy but are now near new after a spin in this stuff. Just follow the directions. If you aren't familiar with the high end Simms product there is some sticker shock but the quality is great so fabric care becomes essential.

I wash mine in the Nikwax system, as I do with all my hunt/fish outer wear. Performs flawlessly. I’ll lightly spray the DWR on while damp and air drying. I’ll do this a couple times per season, depending how “involved” I get with the fish I’m catching. It’s not hurt my luck yet either.

Nikwax here. Use the Tech wash. Follow the directions. Then while wet spray TX Direct. Then hang to air dry.

Same here. A guy that I fish with is a smoker. I didn't say anything, but holy balls did his jacket reek.
I've had my suit for 3 years, and it's never been cleaned, besides fishing in the rain. I think it's time it sees the washing machine.
