Trial run last season, worked out great. Looking forward to many more trips this year. Mount for auger on front rack, but also has mounts on top of the box to carry the auger when I use it in a sled when on foot, or when the box is mounted to the snowmobile for the deeper snow days.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy fishing gear....and that's kind of the same thing.

I'm sure I have posted in here before but probably with an old sled and shanty.

First Post - First Sled

Here's what I have done so far -

Auger Mount on Front Bumper - I can open the hood about 3/4 of the way, enough if something breaks out on the ice. I'll have to take the mount off if I want to service something. I wanted a 2 up fan, but this was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up.

I've added a tank and saddle bags.

I added a a shovel to the front of the auger carrier as well.

This will be my first season not walking!

Still working on front rack but got the monster box installed last week.  Also got my flip over on forks from the swisher plow attachments. Ability to raise and lower from the winch makes me super mobile. Going to add a tube for my k drill, mount helix 10 for lake mapping, garmin unit for panoptics and add a light bar somehow above the height of the shack when raised. Was thinking something that can telescope up and down. (Any ideas)

That's my next ride!  Fantastic!  Jealous from Wisconsin!

I've had a 2004 Polaris and 2009 Can AM (Think it was an 09).  The Polaris was a cold starting SOB. Also always had electrical issues with it. My Can AM never liked sub zero weather.  seemed to die when i needed to get off the ice. Not sure how to solve that issue, but left me stranded 1x or 2x.  How are the reviews the last few years with the CAN AM's?

My polaris had intermittent electrical issues... several times the fuel pump would not power up, had it to the dealer several times, they found nothing. . Best thing I did was get the can am

Well, hard to follow the "poor man's side by side" tracked Tracker, but here's my new ice machine for this year. Sold our school bus of a crew cab Polaris Ranger. It was a pain to transport. The ATV I'll be able to drop the plow and put it in the bed of the truck in 5 min.

Got the Otter box on last week. Now need to make some adapters for their attachment system so I can put a rod holder and milk crate on one side. Then just need to get some new Rhino Pro Grips for the front rack to carry the auger.
(if you have a need for the Polaris "lock n ride" Rhino Pro Grips, PM me)

Talk about comfort on those cold windy days! Do you transport this or live close enough to drive right onto the ice?

I bet you could sell the sides of that thing to a "sponsor" for advertising with some kind of graphic wrap.

My guess is that it would even work in slush, but if it didn't...

Very cool.

I replaced my 2015 Ski-Doo Expedition LE this year with a new 2020 Expedition LE with the G4 chassis.   I used the rack system off of the old machine, with a little modification it went right on.

I took it up to the cabin last weekend to built a new trail, only a few inches of snow and only 5-6" of ice (there is a lot of water flow through that lake), so only crossed the lake with the machine to get to the cabin, did not venture out to fish.  This picture was taken at home yesterday, 8-9" on our lake, will be pulling the permanent shack out in a week or so.

Yes I'm on the water, no trailering. Waiting for enough ice to use it. 8" soo far

2005 650 John deer trail buck. With the help of chains on the tires I was able to tow my shack off the ice. The slush made it tough but got it done .
