Anybody been out on Bantam?  Are we there yet?
How about Winchester or Park?  Hoping to be able to stay in state this weekend.  Thanks for any info.  Feel free to PM.

Would also appreciate a pm. That early ice was great, eager to get back to the toothy monsters.

Tyler has 1.5" at the launch at 3:00 pm today. Mostly locked up. Dog mostly open, Stillwater open with heavy skim by the dam, Woodcreek has 6" of grey ice in front of the launch and one open cove that I could see.

So I guess i will update everybody since clearly nobody knew anything about these places.  I spent 5 hrs driving around looking for ice and ended up in the spot I have been going to anyways in the MA Berkshires.

Bantam = 1"
Park = 2"
Highland = 1.5"

Pontoosuc = 9"

Left the house at 5:30am.  Started fishing at 11:30am.

How did you make out at Pontoosuc? I've had a few skunkings there but also have got some nice largemouths and pike. Never a lot of action for me there though.

Thanks for the report. One question: how did you get onto Bantam if it only has 1" of ice? Was that just a spud from the shore?

How is that possible?  On Saturday am?  Park had 2" so I didn't bother even checking Winchester.  I thought Park always freezes first?

I never catch anything there.  I only go because I have a shot at a Tiger.  I'm beginning to think I've got a better shot at catching a sailfish in that lake.  I think I'm done there.

Ha, the elusive tiger (and safe ice) is what got me started there too. That place can be a zoo on the weekends but at least you got your tilts wet. A skunk at Pontoosuc beats scouting skimmed-but-unfishable ponds. Nice job getting out.

I'll be in NH this weekend visiting the in-laws (and fishing, lol).

Yeah, we couldn't even get on.  One whack with the spud and that was it.
