I have fished there a few times when east twin wasn't safe. There is a state launch on the south end with a good parking lot. I don't recall if someone plows it. Plus there is when pigs fly BBQ in Sharon which is pretty damn good.

Its a nice pond. good bass in there, and plenty of big perch and crappies. Down side: its about as far away as you can get and still be in CT.
