I'm currently on 5" of good ice on Tyler. 3 pickerel and a blue gill so far!

;D nice bro! I'll be up there Sunday with a couple of buddies, hoping the rain Saturday doesn't hurt the ice too much

Fished Tyler Tuesday. 5" good ice.  Very slow, one perch. This weather is not going to help.  I would be cautious about Sunday.

Gunner you right. Going up north 2hr drive is probably safer. Temps there will start dropping below 32 at 7pm and get down to 24 and 31 high tomorrow.  Only issue rain all day.

here's the ice from today. just under 5 inches while it was about 40 or so degrees all day
it was making all sorts of noises when walking around, but never felt unsafe getting on or off the ice. i'll be there tomorrow with some friends

What is the latest report on Tyler Lake? Id like to go Saturday but fear the recent weather may have it open water or at least unsafe.

Heard Tyler was wide open. All ice melted.
If you can't play nice, get off the ice!

Does anyone have any updates for ice conditions at Tyler Lake? I am thinking it must be close to frozen.

As of this message,,  3- 3.5" of clear, smooth, black ice.  15 or so out fishing. Fishing is slow. Tip ups are silent, jigging seems to attract a perch or two.
