Brainard ?? west of boulder... never been there hows the fishing? what kind of fish?

I have never been either, it is around the Ward area. I believe its only 5 foot deep at the most, and I know there are brookies, and I believe rainbows as well. If nothing else has a lid by Thanksgiving weekend I might give it a try. Think it has 4-6 inches of ice on it, they say it really gets windy up there. If your interested in trying it let me know.

you can also try St Mary's as well. It too has brookies in there. I haven't ice fished it, but I've been there in the summer. It has a short steep hike to it.

I may give it a try out of desperation if hard water doesn't come here shortly :(.
