Whitefish Manitoba

Here is question for you die hard Manitoba fishermen - Has anyone gone out to specifically target Whitefish through the ice? Where have you gone to catch a good number of them?

I have fished Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipeg but, so far, all I have caught were tullibee and a load of perch. I know Clear lake in Riding Mountain National park has them but you need a National parks licence.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
