A first for me, in 40 some years of ice fishing. He ate a 1” white paddletail tipped with a wax worm. Have to admit, I was a bit bummed at first, but I got over it:)

Nice, they put up a good fight through the ice.  My pb is 28"

That sure is a unique catch.   I’ve only gotten them on corn, but never through the ice.  Very cool surprise.
