I live close to a golf course and used to pass by it on my way to work and never seen deer eating the grass on the course but they would be in people's yards that lived on the course

Just the fact that you have asked the question means to me you have a doubt Wether it's safe to eat the golf course fish. I'd say trust your gut.  Oh and NO its not safe lol.

  ::) more like efficiently and sporadically.  golf courses don't have the money to allow for much waste/run off.   none the less, i would never eat anything out of a small pond whether on a course or in the back 40. 

 also be sure to not eat any more venison cause bambi likes the turfgrass!
