Fairlee, Morey or champlain
« on: Feb 26, 2021, 10:17 AM »
I live close to Fairlee and Morey but could drive to Champlain. I am taking a couple of kids ice fishing this weekend and I just want to do my best to make sure they catch something. Mostly going to fish for perch or whatever swims by. Just not sure if we are better to head for lake Champlain or if they would have fun on Morey or Fairlee. Not looking for spots just general opinions of folks, thanks

I take my kids to Morey every year and do really well for perch, good sized ones too. You can always set some tipups in shallow and get a pike (or a few pike) too while finding the perch out deeper. Great place to fish with kids, if you can tolerate all of the skaters haha.
