I drove by HH yesterday but didn't have a great view, Dillenback on the other hand was busy. Got a few perch there myself that day.

Dillenbeck has 6”
I would call Bruce at holiday harbor he would tell you the conditions there.
He didn’t have any shacks out as of yesterday.
Good luck.
It was decent fishing out on dillenbeck on Saturday for us.
Perch and sunnys. In 8’ of water.
Hope you find them.

I drove by HH yesterday Feb1 and there were two shantys in the bay next to there. I fished the west shore of Alburgh and there was a solid 8” of ice and people were using ATVs on the ice. The fishing was excellent for perch and pike.

I live right across the passage from Holiday Harbor. Definitely people fishing out there. On my side of the passage I've got 8-10 inches. Should be good to go!

I fished last Sat, Sun, and Mon right behind Bruce's in three different spots that I've done well for pike in the past. One pike over the three days on Sat afternoon. I was tempted to take a ride and fish elsewhere but I had my kids with me. We stayed busy with perch on the jigs but pike fishing was very slow last weekend.

Our experience was pretty much the same. Caught more perch than we could count, but only 1 pike. Foretunately, it was my son's first pike so he was pretty excited. We used an aqua-vu while we were fishing and had three pike come up the camera...all three decided they had better things to do and swam off.

I'm pretty sure pike are feeding on alewives this year in deeper water suspended.  The reports from everyone are way below average this year and it is not becuase there is a lack of pike in the lake.   Mother nature is going to tell them to come to shore soon.  Fishing should start to pick up in the bays soon.

I’ve done pretty well this year for pike, all coming out of 10-15 ft of water. Next weekend I’ll start moving in shallower.

We used an aqua-vu while perch fishing and had video of several farther out in 10fow, but none of them bit anything. After we saw the first one on video, we put a large shiner on a deadstick and got video of a pike swimming right by him....frustrating. The one we caught was in 5fow on a tip up.

Just got back from North Hero with a group of 7 of us. Over a 4 day trip we caught about 120 between all of us. Nothing real big but many in the 30 to 32 inch  range. Still a lot of fun. Most were caught in 7 feet or less of water.
Hard water Tight lines Flags up. Doesn't get any better than that

Fished north hero area Sunday.  3 of us over 100 pike also shallower than 10ft.  Just like Jeff nothing huge but a lot of fun.  If you aren't catching you are in the wrong area.

Were you guys on the east side, west side or directly north of North Hero?  I was going to try the east side this year.  Fished the west side last year twice from 4 FOW with lines all the way out to 20' FOW.  Did very average both times with no big pike.  We did do well for pike further north last weekend with one nice 11 pounder we put back.
