Anyone want to chance it around central Illinois?  I know a couple docks look inviting.

Can anyone around Central IL verify what the ice is looking like? Any reports would be appreciated.

Couldn't get on Lake Bloomington. But luckily the bar had cold beer so a couple of them helped drown my sorrows.

Skipped the ice, open water was hot today. Never even stopped to look.

open water sounds fun. where did you go today? all the places I usually go in the boat are still partially covered with ice. Maybe i need to explore a little more and find some different spots.

Ice season is officially over for me.  Ice was unsafe on Friday and is pretty much gone as of today.  Time to get out the boat and the long rods.
