I'm Ready

I'm Ready!
There just isn't enough ice yet.  1 inch.
Great for a group of kids and adults.


These are what the Mrs and I use for lake trout.  Mitchell Avocet S2000R with 8lb test and a medium stiffness rod.


Won't be long now.

Oh man I’m pumped, I was out once already. Hoping some of the other lakes will freeze sooner. Where’s our ice making weather this year  >:(

good stuff. I like to wrap those style of reels with electrical tape instead of the zipties cuz they have a sharp edge on them. I once had a reel fall off my rod while reelin in a big fish hehe- never again.
