Looking to get out in the Vernon area tomorrow, anybody care to join? Thinking Bolton lakes, hoping for Coventry if it’s safe.

Coventry looks pretty sketchy as you get farther out. Saw one guy out there yesterday off Lisicke. Been keeping an eye on Lower Bolton and it doesnt look too good yet. Middle and upper have been locked up longer so they probably have a little more ice. Sorry havent had time to officially check the thicknesses at either place this week though.

Update on Coventry. My son just went by there on the bus and saw about 5 groups of people out there off Lisicke Beach. 👍 Not sure again on actual thickness though.

Yeah I figured. Ended up making the slightly longer drive up to Bigelow Hollow. Nobody on Mashapaug and I wasn’t about to be the first, but Bigelow had 4-5 inches. Definitely a few soft spots mixed in though.
