I am hoping to find some ice. Who else is thinking about giving it a go..After the temps we have had since Sunday night through tomorrow..looks like we got a shot

small pond in the south county had 2 inched this afternoon

I checked a few Nw. R.I. ponds today and the best I could find was 4” of crap snow ice.

And a downpour on Saturday and Sunday.  Not looking great for our area folks. I am still optimistic.

Just got a report from a viable source of someone fishing ON THE ICE in N.W. RI
 I think Saturday is a go if it doesn't get too warm next two days

My only shot will be sunday, not so sure if we'll be able to get out down here with this weather. But I guess we'll see

Just found out this morning, that the Pascoag F.D. held an ice rescue drill in front of the boat ramp at a popular N.W. RI pond last night.
So be careful of large cut hole(s) when venturing out.
Hopefully, Sat am will be a go...1.5-2" of rain coming Sat night / Sun morn.

Checked my spot in northern ri this morning, solid 3 on the edges and pushing over 4 further out. planning on hitting it early saturday morning while we have a window.
