I'll head out this weekend and check the ice.
It was 10" solid ice on the main lake Saturday. (A few short Walleye were caught, no legals.)

I agree, the Crack sounds fine!

Tower loop at Cherry Creek, same spot as last year. For those that weren’t there last year, just straight out from the lot. You’ll see the group of dudes drinking beer.

Unless others have suggestions for another spot in the crack...

Yep, much easier access. They had Fox run parking lot blocked off on Friday. I have no idea why.

Prob start gathering at the tower early afternoon, maybe 2pm? Plenty of time for brews and snacks before dinner and the magic hour bite.

I’m prob going at sunup for the morning bite, too. I might look for crappie and bluegill early in the day, if anyone wants to join.

I found out why, there are some Eagles nesting between there and Kingfisher. I'm cool with that.

Edges are getting sketchy at the tower too; still get on/off as of this message (1600). Ice was solid 7 on Monday, beginning to look a little bit sponge.
