i got that bass back when i lived in central Pa. It was caught in a small lake in sullivan county north east of williamsport.

This is a close-up of the bass in my user photo.

Measured @ 23" and a little over 5lbs... Not Huge, but a nice bass.

Thats a nice fish!! Just went and checked the ice off my dock. Only 2 inches of poor ice. Im going to put a trap off the end anyway and see whats out there. Ill just stand on the dock and put it out as far as i can reach. Who knows, maybe first fish of the season!

Thanks everyone for posting your fish! Those are some nice lookin bass. Im gettin ready myself for a trip to maine for lake trout, and splake. When I come back Im lookin to break last years fish and catch a bigger one. Who knows. Good luck everyone

Thought Id try a couple close traps today the pond. There was 5 inches yesterday. I went out to put a couple in and came across some 2 inch ice thickness spots. So since its pushing 40 right now, and the ice is marginal at best, im going to wait a couple more days. Hopefully we have a cold snap here! I want to fish!
