Here's a little New Year's Eve action featuring my kindergartener (This is my first video post, so please forgive me if it's a little too corny for ya)  ... http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f18/hawgerdawger/Video/?action=view&current=NewYearsEveFishing_0001.flv

Awesome and  8)
My kids are all grown up - grand kids on the way - can't wait.
Like to see the little ones catch fish - then when they get older, like mine, it's a contest.
Fun times all the way round.  :)

Thanks all! To answer the question in this thread, Sawyer's two months away from being 6 (he's made it that far, despite a steady diet of waxworms. LOL). He loves to go fishing, and I hope it stays that way.

When we had t-shirt weather a couple days ago, I had other things to do and told him it was probably too sloppy around the edges to fish. A little later, I looked out my garage door toward our backyard pond, and saw he had decided to grab the spud bar and do a little test of his own ...

That's awesome!  I've not taken my 4 yo out on the ice yet but this year might be the time to break him in.

Thanks for posting!
