Title: Regular Dropper

When you guys use a "dropper" such as a small wet fly below a jig, do you tie a connecting leader from the hook of the jig on the high side of the rig or just tie down with a palomar knot from the eye of the jig.

If you tie off of the hook, what kind of knot do you feel is best to use.
